Scope of work |
1. Main Tasks and Key Deliverables Under the direct supervision of the Minister, the Design and Social Media Specialist will: 1. Create high-quality graphic materials, including infographics, social media posts, banners, presentations, and promotional materials aligned with MEHE’s branding guidelines. 2. Manage and regularly update MEHE’s official social media accounts, ensuring engaging content, accurate messaging, and timely communication. 3. Update and maintain MEHE’s website, ensuring content accuracy, relevance, and visual appeal. 4. Coordinate closely with various MEHE departments to collect content, news, and updates for dissemination via digital channels. 5. Develop and implement a social media content calendar to strategically promote MEHE’s initiatives, events, and announcements. 6. Monitor social media channels, respond appropriately to public inquiries, and provide regular reports on social media performance metrics. 7. Ensure digital content is accessible, inclusive, and aligned with best practices in online communication. 8. Support the Minister’s Office in enhancing transparency, public engagement, and stakeholder interaction through strategic digital communication. |
Deliverables and Schedules | Key deliverables
1. Visually appealing and informative graphics for use across social media, website, and other communication platforms. 2. An actively maintained social media presence with regular updates and effective community engagement. 3. An updated and user-friendly MEHE website with accurate and timely content. 4. Monthly analytics reports evaluating social media performance and recommendations for improvement. |
Timing | The consultancy duration is from 01 May, 2025, to December 31, 2025. |
Reporting Requirements | Monthly deliverables and progress reports will be reviewed and approved by the Minister to ensure alignment with MEHE’s strategic communication objectives.
The contract is signed with a management service provider working with UNICEF. Fees are comparable with similar level of expertise in international organizations. |
Profile
Requirements |
· A minimum first-level university degree in graphic design, communications, digital marketing, or a related field with at least 5 years of relevant professional experience.
· Proven experience in graphic design, social media management, content creation, and website updating. · Proficiency in graphic design software such as Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign). · Experience managing social media platforms (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn) and website content management systems. · Fluency in Arabic and English. · Familiarity with MEHE’s operations and communication practices is highly desirable. · Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
