Job Overview
Well experienced candidate (8+ years of experience) who has a previous experience in the aviation industry as commercial manager, specifically in a ground handling / cargo services company.
Responsible for the proper development and implementation of a commercial strategy to enhance the company Group’s competitive position and to create strategies and metrics to ensure the business stays on track with its objectives and exceeds targets. work with various departments on the budgeting, sales processes, and marketing strategies to ensure the company can achieve its goals.
Help define the future commercial direction of the company Group and determines the objectives and proposes business solutions to ensure consistent profitable growth.
Duties and Responsibilities:
1.1. Establish relevant business KPIs for the company to track.
1.2. Create and execute commercial strategies aimed at accelerating growth.
1.3. Study industry trends and create an effective business plan based on commercial opportunities.
1.4. Manage the commercial and sales teams with the goal of improving key metrics.
1.5. Heavily involved in the motivation, drive and development of new talent within the organization.
1.6. Develop an understanding of customers’ needs and make sure they are met.
1.7. Responsible for ensuring all business activities are in line with the organization’s objectives.
1.8. Work with the marketing team to create strategies that boost the company and product awareness.
1.9. Develop partnerships with key stakeholders aimed at accelerating the company’s growth.
1.10. Assist in the development of budgets and other financial systems within the company.
1.11. Suggestions for corrective action if sales are below the budget.
1.12. Responsible for the approval of the company’s product pricing and positioning.
1.13. Regularly receive reports comparing actual sales versus budgeted sales.
1.14. Follow up on daily sales achievements and provide frequent updates to the CEO.
1.15. Attend local and international networking events and build industry connections in order to facilitate business growth.
1.16. Oversee branding and marketing endeavors to ensure all efforts are aligned with business goals.
1.17. Ensure that the organization complies with contractual obligations as well as company Group internal rules and regulations.
1.18. Evaluate commercial performance and employ risk management frameworks and strategies for the organization.
1.19. Take a lead role in solving commercial issues that may arise.
